09/21/2021 @ 1445, Missing Swimmer – Quail Creek Res. – Man Hours – 20
SAR responded to a report of a missing female swimmer at Quail Creek Reservoir. Utah State Parks and the SAR Dive Team searched on boats. They located the female near the Main Dam. She was not in need of help and was taken back to shore.

09/21/2021 @ 1830, UTV Accident – Sand Mountain – Man Hours – 18
SAR responded to a UTV accident on Sand Mountain. Two males rolled the UTV. It was reported one male had a fractured arm. One male made it to the Beach at Sand Hollow. SAR located the second male with an arm injury on the Sand Dunes. EMS checked the subjects. They refused transport.

09/23/2021 @ 0125, Fall – Dalton Wash – Man Hours – 24
SAR responded to a 26 year old female that fell 30-40 feet off a cliff. She was with a group of campers. Hurricane EMS, Springdale PD and deputies also responded. She wasstabilized and carried up the hill. She was taken by ambulance, with serious injuries, to SGRH.

09/23/2021 @ 1255, UTV Accident – Sand Mountain – Man Hours – 15
SAR responded to a UTV accident on Sand Mountain. The male subject rolled his UTV and had broken his arm. The arm was stabilized and he was transported back to the ambulance. He was taken to SGRH for treatment.

10/03/2021 @ 1710, Lost Mtn Biker – Babylon – Man Hours – 3
A SAR Deputy was dispatched on a search and rescue in the Babylon area. The
complainant stated that she and her partner got lost while riding their bikes. I responded to the area and located the complainant. I then gave her a ride back to her vehicle, and she drove and picked up her partner and their bikes. No further action was taken.

10/05/2021 @ 1350, Jeep Rollover – Sand Mountain – Man Hours – 22
SAR was dispatched to a Jeep rollover at Sand Hollow, part of 4X4 event. Female driver with broken arm. SAR responded to assist with medical and transport. Subject ultimately transported by Life Flight due to patient condition.

10/14/2021 @ 1745, Injured Hiker – Red Cliffs Recreation – Man Hours – 40
SAR responded to a 20 year old injured female that fell and broke her ankle. SAR and EMS hiked in and located her. They stabilized her injury and brought her out on a wheeled Stokes. She was taken to SGRH for treatment.

10/16/2021 @ 1700, UTV Accident – Sand Mountain – Man Hours – 14
SAR responded to a UTV accident on Sand Mountain. It was reported a male had a broken arm and a second subject was pinned in the UTV. Life Flight was launched. SAR found there was only one 20 year ols male that was injured. He self extracted to the waiting ambulance. SAR units cleared the scene
