11/19/2021 @ 1440 – Mountain Biker Down – Goosebumps Trail – Man Hours – 20
SAR responded to a 61 year old male that went down on the Goosebumps Trail. SAR,
EMS, and Life Flight headed to the GPS Coordinates. Dispatched advised CPR was in
progress. EMS and SAR assisted with the medical. The subject did not survive.
Detectives and the M.E. took over the investigation. SAR brought the subject back to the
trail head.

11/24/2021 @ 0900 – Missing Person – Webb Hill, St George – Man Hours – 84
SAR responded to assist St George PD on a missing person. SAR deployed on foot,
UTV’s, and with Drones. Webb Hill was searched for 3 hours. We were unable to locate
the missing male. He was later found out of state.

11/27/2021 @ 1500 – Vehicle Accident – Sand Mountain – Man Hours – 8
SAR, Deputies, and EMS responded to a vehicle accident on Sand Mountain. A male took his Ford Bronco up the sand dunes and jumped it off a 30 foot dune. The subject was injured and flown out by Life Flight to SGRH with suspected back injuries.

11/28/2021 @ 0700, Ledged Hiker – Lower Subway – Man Hours – 30
SAR responded to assist Zion National Park on a Ledged hiker in the Lower Subway.
The subject was stuck all night, but had been given supplies. SAR went in at daylight and
got the subject off the cliff. He was hiked back to the IC. No EMS was needed.

12/11/2021 @ 0900, Missing Person – Sheep’s Bridge – Man Hours – 75
SAR responded to conduct a search for a missing female out of Nephi. Her vehicle was
located off Sheep’s Bridge, but her family states she hasn’t been heard from since August. SAR utilized teams on foot, UTV’s, and Drones. No sign of her was located. She is still considered missing.

12/16/2021 @ 1730, Ledged Up Hiker – Red Mountain – Man Hours – 80
SAR responded to a 21 year old female hiker that said she was stranded on the Red
Mountain. SAR units deployed up 2 different trails. She was located 30 down a cliff
hanging on in a crevice. SAR rappelled down and secured her. She was pulled back to the
top and hiked off the mountain. She was cold, but denied and medical treatment.

12/19/2021 @ 1315, UTV Accident – Sand Mountain – Man Hours – 27
SAR was dispatched to a UTV accident on Sand Mountain. Four male subjects were in
the UTV when it rolled. SAR and EMS transported all of them back to the IC. They
were checked by EMS. All denied transport.
