01/04/2025 @ 0156, Lost Hiker, Padre Canyon, Snow Canyon State Park– Man Hours – 66
Search and Rescue (SAR) responded to a report of a male hiker who was lost near Padre Canyon Trail. SAR units responded to the hikers GPS coordinates and were able to locate him. They then guided him back to Incident Command without incident.
01/17/2025 @ 1123, Injured Hiker, Scout Cave Trail, Snow Canyon – Man Hours – 20
Search and Rescue (SAR) responded to Sand Mountain on a report of a rollover. The male patient had a suspected broken ankle. SAR personnel located the patient and stabilized the patients injury. They then transported the patient back to Sand Hollow where he elected to self transport.
01/18/2025 @ 1630, Lost Hiker, Tuachan Arch Trail, Snow Canyon State Park – Man Hours – 16.5
Search and Rescue (SAR) responded to a report of a male hiker who was lost near Tuachan Arch Trail. SAR units responded to the hikers GPS coordinates and were able to locate him. They then guided him back to Incident Command without incident.
01/18/2025 @ 1851, Lost Hikers, Yant Flat Trail– Man Hours – 11
Search and Rescue (SAR) responded to Yant Flat Trail on a report of three lost hikers. SAR units located the hikers and guided them back to the trailhead.
