Only votes received from eligible members of that respective team will be counted.

The new section in the Bylaws under 7.2 Election of officers reads:

"SAR team members can vote for the team leader of each team that they are meeting the requirements to be considered an active member of. To be considered an active member of a team, the member must meet the following requirements: 1. Members must be off probation and voted in as a full member of the team. 2. Members must complete the required 20 hours of documented and approved annual training as specified in section 3.5.2. Training will be calculated on a rolling annual basis. 3. Members must attend 50% of quarterly meetings unless excused as specified in section 3.5.2. 4. Members must respond to at least 33% of all mission call outs for the pertinent team as specified in section 3.5.3."
